WINGO CRYO TANKS

About Shipping

40’OT and 40’FR containers are two commonly used containers for shipping cryogenic storage tanks. We have professional engineers, sales, workers, drivers, and freight forwarders together to provide one-stop service, from design to installation of cryogenic tanks.

40 Feet Open Top (40'OT) Container

The 40-foot open-top container is the most commonly used. For micro-bulk tanks, the space between the inner and outer cylinders is connected by a stainless steel neck at the top. Vertical placement can avoid structural damage. The height of the micro bulk tank is usually more than 3 meters, and the height of the 40-foot container is only 2.68 meters.

For horizontal transport of cryogenic tanks, when their diameter is less than the internal width of the open-top container, the open-top container is also the best choice.

In addition, a crane usually carries out the loading and unloading of cryogenic tanks. Using an open-top container will be safer and faster.

The diameter of many cryogenic tanks is bigger than the internal width of the open-top cabinet of 2.35 meters, so that we will use the flat rack container.

Also, we will use cranes to load and unload the tanks, use strong binding straps to secure the cryogenic tanks, and finally secure the tarpaulin to withstand the bad weather of shipping on the sea.
